Sinus Lifts
Sinus lifts (or a sinus graft) regenerates bone loss in the upper back area of your mouth for future dental implant placement. This is often needed when upper back molar teeth are missing. A cone beam CT scan is taken to evaluate the health of the sinus and underlying bone tissue for proper planning and treatment.
Our Process for Sinus Lifts
Bone graft materials are placed between the upper jawbone and the sinus cavity. A dental implant may be placed at the same time.
Sinus Lifts for Dental Implants
Dental implants with sinus lift procedures are highly successful and result in minimal postoperative discomfort.
Bone Grafts (Bone Regeneration)
Bone grafts regenerate areas of the jaw where bone has been lost due to gum disease, tooth extraction, or natural resorption. This procedure strengthens the foundation of your teeth and creates the stability needed for future dental restorations like implants, a bridge, or dentures. With advanced imaging such as 3D CBCT scanners, our team carefully evaluates bone quality and quantity to plan your treatment with precision.
Our Process for Bone Grafts
Bone graft material is placed into the weakened or missing areas of the jawbone, where it serves as a scaffold for new bone growth. Over time, the graft is replaced by your own natural bone. Depending on the case, a dental implant may be placed during the same procedure.
Bone Grafts for Dental Implants
By restoring lost bone, grafting makes dental implants possible for patients who may not have otherwise qualified. This process not only improves the long-term success of implants but also helps maintain facial structure with minimal postoperative discomfort.
Gum Grafts (Gum Regeneration)
Gum grafts, also called gum regeneration, restore tissue that has been lost due to gum recession. Rebuilding the gumline protects exposed tooth roots, reduces sensitivity, and creates a balanced, more youthful smile. Gum grafting also plays an important role in preparing the mouth for restorations and improving overall periodontal health.
Our Process for Gum Grafts
After numbing the treatment area, gum tissue is gently repositioned, or a graft is placed using tissue from the patient or a donor source. The graft is secured and allowed to heal, naturally integrating with the surrounding gum tissue to rebuild a strong, protective gumline.
Gum Grafts for Health and Aesthetics
Gum grafting not only safeguards oral health but also enhances the appearance of your smile by creating symmetry and covering exposed roots. The procedure is performed with modern techniques for patient comfort and typically involves minimal recovery time.
