Dental Technology

We believe keeping current in techniques, materials, and instruments is important in providing the best care for our patients. Learn how you will benefit with our state of the art technology.

Digital X-Ray Sensors

Kavo IXS digital sensors take crisp and clear 2-D images of teeth and bone.  These sensors use less radiation than traditional x-rays with film.  We also protect patients by placing lead apron shields.

  • Engineered to provide high quality image within seconds to allow for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Ergonomically designed to support patient comfort
  • Low-dose setting to reduce amount of radiation.

3-D Cone beam CT Scan

The Kavo OP3-D Cone Beam Machine will allow our doctors to visualize patients teeth and jaws in three dimensions.

  • Accurately diagnoses dental problems (eg. tooth fractures, bone loss) that cannot be seen in conventional 2-D x-ray films.
  • Aids in dental implant planning to prevent potential damage to vital structures like nerves and sinuses.
  • Can help doctors visualize complex 3-D root canals for better endodontic diagnosis and root canal therapy
  • 3-D imaging prevents problems from delayed/incomplete diagnosis, reduces treatment time, minimizes chance of complications, and improves patient post-op experience.
  • Kavo OP3-D provides different resolutions and volume settings to allow customization for each patient’s need.  Our machine is able to consistently produce optimized imaging ranging from single tooth area to full mouth.

Intraoral Camera

  • Allows patients to see what the doctors see
  • Helps patients better understand their oral health condition.
  • Improves effective communication
  • Photos taken record teeth and gum problems that may not be visible on x-ray films.

Valo Curing Light

Valo is an award winning ultra-high energy broadband LEDs that delivers a complete & uniform cure of all dental material.

  • Reduces post operative sensitivity of composite fillings due to incomplete curing of material.
  • Prevents dental crown dislodging due to its high-intensity light that can penetrate the porcelain crown and cure underlying cement.
  • Cordless design to aid in patient comfort.

Dental Biologics

Dental biologics are advanced innovations that have revolutionized the dental treatment approach and outcome.

  • Improve long term treatment outcome when combined with other dental treatments.
  • Provide minimally invasive treatment alternative to conventional approach
  • Significantly reduces post treatment pain and swelling when used in conventional dental surgeries

We use a wide range of biologics like allograft, xenografts, collagen membranes, growth factors, localized antibiotics, and more.  Ask how biologics can help at your next visit.
